Keep Us In The Loop! Notify Calm before things change…

It is important that Calm Computing remains informed of any & all significant changes in our clients’ business, as I.T. is so heavily intertwined with a company’s day-to-day and long-term operations. It doesn’t matter if it’s 1 full year in advance; we’d like to know so we can use our expertise to assist in planning for the unexpected and optimizing the efficiency of any transition, no matter how small.

Here is a partial list of some of the major items of which Calm Computing must be kept informed with as much advance notice as possible:

  • All employee related items, especially hiring, separation, and staff role changes
  • Shopping & procuring new internet & phone services
  • Transferring / migrating phone and internet services**
  • Office Moves / Relocations**
  • Opening or closing remote / additional locations
  • Unplanned expansion or contraction in business size, employees, operations, etc.
  • Plans / forecast to expand or contract
  • Anything and everything related to I.T.:
    • Printer / copier installs / replacements / etc.
    • Phone issues; VOIP, Cellular, and land lines

Basically, if it uses electricity and you use it in your business, you should probably let us know about it! If you do not hear back from Calm within 24 hours of submitting any forms or if you have any questions, please Contact Us.

**PLEASE NOTE:
All ISP’s and telephone vendors (i.e. AT&T, Comcast, and Consolidated) require at least 30-60 days’ notice for any and all changes, especially moving or setting up new services. In fact, most ISP’s treat a “move” as an entirely new setup. There is absolutely nothing Calm can do about this timeline; it is 100% in the hands of the ISP and their technicians.
